A new city made it inside my list of great US cities: Nashville. Henri and I were only able to visit the capital of Tennessee for a few hours as we have to move up north a bit faster to meet people in Kentucky this Friday, and we have to work… But we had a sense of HOW COOL it is. Nashville is cool! It’s lively, touristy yet authentic, with a lot of positive energy and really entertaining, hip neighborhoods around Downtown.
In a few hours, without spending a dollar, you can…
Try on the nicest, high-quality hat in the world…
Meet the doppelgängers of the best and worst Americans…
Practice small talk about shoes…
Visit the Hatch Show Print, an awesome printing store…
Live an authentic fifties moment…
Live an authentic eighties moment…
Live an authentic nineties moment…
Meet up with the legends at the corner…
See a replica of the Greek Parthenon WITH a truck parked right in front of it (only in the U.S.A)…
Watch skaterboarders who can actually skateboard…
Listen to a White Stripes record in the hipsterest record store in the world…
And finish with a quiet walk next to the river.
BONUS: There is also the posters of “people who are only famous in Nashville”. Do you know any of these artists?
